Celebrating Our Tamariki at the Annual Kapa Haka Hui
We are absolutely thrilled to share the success of our tamariki at the Annual Kapa Haka Hui, held at Long Bay Primary! The event was an incredible celebration of culture, music, and community, and our children truly shone.
As the tamariki proudly walked to the front to perform, their confidence and enthusiasm were clear to everyone in the audience. Despite performing in front of a large crowd, they embraced the moment with smiles and energy, showcasing their kapa haka skills with pride. Their poise and presence were simply remarkable, and it was heartwarming to see their hard work and dedication come to life in such a meaningful way.
Each child gave their best, fully immersing themselves in the rhythm of the waiata (songs). It was a beautiful display of teamwork, respect, and cultural pride, and we couldn’t be more proud of every single tamariki who took part. Their performance not only highlighted their growing confidence but also the support and encouragement they receive from their teachers and whānau.
We are so proud of our tamariki for their courage, confidence, and commitment. Their performance at the Kapa Haka Hui was a true reflection of their hard work, and it was a privilege to watch them perform.
What a wonderful day it was, and we look forward to continuing to celebrate our tamariki's journey in kapa haka and beyond!
