We Take Play Seriously!

At BestStart we take play seriously, because children learn best through experiences created through play. When children learn from their play, they grow in self-confidence, self-expression, relationship skills and knowledge of the world around them.

We focus on learning through play to grow the positive emotional and social skills that create happy, healthy adults. By pretending, creating and exploring, children become giants, princesses, dinosaurs and birds. They take journeys through jungles, escape from pirates and swim oceans - all before lunchtime! Through this play, children learn about the world around them, take turns, problem solve, feel emotions and engage with each other.

We nurture other knowledge such as literacy and numeracy through lots of playful interactions that will set your child up well for their transition to formal education at school.
