Christmas 2023 at BestStart Onehunga
During December, Santa's workshop here at BestStart Onehunga has been busy crafting, creating, and preparing to celebrate Christmas! Busy crafting here and there, a festive celebration for all to share. A holly, jolly Christmas bash and our tamariki made it the best!
The tamariki looked adorable in their festive dress-up, with their faces adorned in cheerful Christmas paintings. We captured the festive mood with a group picture by the Christmas tree. Our tamariki decorated Santa hats with a splash of glitter, glue, and paint. Toddlers crafted and decorated their Christmas tree, painted, and enjoyed messy play as they awaited Santa’s arrival.
Santa’s helpers in the infant’s room worked together to help put up the Christmas tree, making sure that the decorations were up and ready to go. Exploring through messy play and different textures, we are learning about the festive season. Laughing, exploring and learning is fun and together we all encourage our friends to be patient and caring.
