Poipoia te kākano kia puāwai (nurture the seed and it will blossom) Nursey loves to explore the environment. Their current planning is exploration through active movement. Here the pēpe had so much fun exploring the shirred paper. They are able to explore freely. As they are able to explore, they are learning so much.
They play and learn alongside their peers. It also develops their senses and space awareness. This is something that our nursery enjoys. Messy play in a variety of ways. They are always involved as much as they can. Messy play is such a cool activity to be a part of as it develops your sense as you get right involved. Sensory exploration is great for our babies and their imaginations.
It helps develop all their senses as they explore it. Within our nursery, we support and develop the pēpe's learning. A lot of our planning follows their learning goals, and what they are interested in. We also look at where they are within their learning and past experiences. We work together with the parents to support the children's learning. This is something we try to follow.
