To celebrate the Maori New Year at BestStart Railway Rd we had our annual Matariki evening. Whanau were welcomed with warm soup and buns. We had plenty of fun with lots of activities such as weaving, wishing stars, singing waiata and planting a tree. It was a great evening where staff could spend quality chatting to whanau and fostering whanaungatanga.
