Meet the to the team at Beststart Waihi East! Our team is dedicated to making every child's time in our care a fun, engaging learning experience. We strive to provide for children’s physical, emotional, and intellectual needs. Every kaiako in our team brings a unique set of gifts and skills. This, along with our heart for tamariki, makes us an amazing team that cares deeply for the tamariki under our care.
We all bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, cultural & social aspects. Our focus of Whanaungatanga is on togetherness and relationships to enhance a sense of belonging; therefore, our door is always open and we value building strong relationships with tamariki, whanau, and the wider community.
We would love for you to visit our centre, meet our team, see our rooms, and check out our resources and the new playground. This also gives you the chance to ask any questions you may have and gain additional information to help you decide on care for your tamariki. Kaiako within Ngā Teina (pēpi room) are Alisha, Colina & Corena Kaiako within Ngā Tuakana (preschool) are Patrice, Julie, Trisha, Toni & Corena Christine is our admin superstar.
