Meet the wonderful Toddler teachers. Our Head teacher, Abi works alongside Harjit and Chloe. The toddler teachers come with a lot of knowledge and experience. They come from a mixed culture so this is brought out within their teaching. These amazing teachers are very passionate about providing the best care for the tamariki.
The toddler teachers strive to make their environment fun and inviting while providing children the opportunity to grow to their full potential. As a team, our teachers ensure that the children and their whanau feel comfortable and supported and Whanau aspirations for their children are recognised and valued.
The kaiako encourage tamariki to explore their environment as we value our environment as a third teacher. The routines are very important in toddlers. This includes Mat time, kai time, sleep time, and nappy changing. They also learn to clean up and take care of their belongings and the environment. These routines, help support tamariki to develop independence.
The teachers are always happy to talk about the children’s learning or just have a conversation. Feel free to pop in see what the children have been up to. He waka eke noa - were all in this together
