Meet the Team at BestStart Waihopai Kindy
We think BestStart Waihopai Kindy is a pretty special place! Come and meet some of the people that make it so special.
Amber (Centre Manager) - Amber has worked for BestStart for 12 years and you can find her managing a couple of BestStart Centres across the region. Amber's passion is growing teams, tamariki, and communities that are resilient, confident, and passionate about what they love most - whatever that may be.
Crystal (Assistant Manager) - You will find Crystal in her element between Monday-Friday from 8am-4.30pm fostering and supporting tamariki's interests and passions. Crystal has a great eye for detail and is fantastic at providing environments that are exciting, stimulating, and open themselves up to exploration and wonder.
Maggie (Teacher) - You will find Maggie working her magic every weekday between 9am and 3pm at BestStart Waihopai Kindy. Maggie is one of those kaiako that leaves a little bit of sparkle where ever she goes. Maggie has a passion for ensuring tamariki's voices are nurtured and heard.
Suba (Teacher) - Suba is our creative genius. Whether it's performing, creating, or imagining - if you have a tamariki who has a passion for creative expression then BestStart Waihopai Kindy is for you and Suba is your kind of teacher! Suba creates her masterpieces between Monday-Friday from 8am-4.30pm.
Abby (Teacher) - Between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm between Monday-Friday you will find Abby at BestStart Waihopai Kindy getting busy. Abby is our resident energiser bunny! You will find her running around outside, playing games, building with the tamariki, and creating memories and smiles with tamariki all day long.
Kevin (Teacher of "Wild at Heart") - Every Wednesday you will find Kev loaded up in the van with Abby and 8 tamariki as they head off to the bush for a day of running, climbing, exploring, and nurturing in nature.
Katrina (Admin) - Katrina is the superstar of our reception and she also covers lunches in the classroom. Katrina is a wealth of knowledge and can help you with enrolment, WINZ applications, and just about anything you need. We think she's a pretty big deal!
BestStart Waihopai Kindy is a very special place full of very special kaiako who would love to share the magical moments that are Early Childhood with you and your whanau.
