Our Christmas Party 2023
What a beautiful evening we had for our Christmas Party at Keirunga Gardens. We welcomed our children and their families to the beautiful park-like gardens and set up our picnics in the cool shade under the trees.
The trains were running, and the children (and teachers) were excited to have a ride, waving to our friends as we made our way through the gardens, trying to find all the teddies that were hiding in the trees along the track. We were all enjoying our picnics when who should arrive on a train and stop at the station at the top of the hill but Santa himself?
There was such excitement as the children and their families gathered around to get a closer look at our special guest and even better to receive an ice block which was gratefully received on such a hot evening.
Thank you, Santa!
There was still time to play on the playground, have a couple more rides on the trains, and catch up with old friends before it was time to say goodbye. What a great night and an awesome way to celebrate the start of the Festive season.
Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us. What fun we had! Some of us were even lucky to see a kereru up close as it sat watching us from up in the tree.
