Our Hikoi to Montessori Playgroup
Every Thursday during term time between 9:30 and 11:30 our centre runs a playgroup for parents and their babies. Annemarie leads playgroup and is there to answer any questions about Montessori, babies, anything and everything! Some of our babies and children at Montessori use to attend playgroup before they start at Montessori. This gives them an opportunity to meet one of our kaiako and learn about our routine before they start at the centre. Every Thursday we have been taking our tamariki from the Nido room to visit and spend some time at Playgroup. They are given a lot of space to explore, crawl, walk and climb. Our tamariki love reading books, playing with playdough, riding the ride on bikes and meeting other children in our community. It's just a quick ride down to get to playgroup so it's easy for our kaiako to take our tamariki. We love to meet families in our local area and even meet some families that are on our waiting list. It’s so great for our youngest tamariki to go out and about! Another great way to make connections with others in our local community.
