School Visits
Today, we had an amazing school visit at Edendale Primary School as part of the "Set for School Programme" at BestStart St Lukes. Our older preschool children regularly participate in visits to our local primary school, and today's experience was truly fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed exploring our local school and the community.
The visit to the new entrant classroom was a valuable learning opportunity for the children, offering them a sneak peek into school life and aiding in better preparation for their upcoming school journey. Children had story time with the new entrant teacher and practice writing their names! Children were so confident in expressing their ideas among the group of children. At BestStart St Lukes, We have a designated area for our older preschool children where we provide an impressive 16 areas of play to help children develop the skills they need before transitioning to school.
Our highly experienced teachers excel in extending each child's learning individually, supporting them in reaching their full potential. We often receive great feedback from our local schools prizing our children who are ready to continue their school journey with skills needed already developed in our centre. We are excited to continue these school visits every month for our preschool children, expanding their understanding of school life.
