St John's Visit
Kia Ora as part of our “light the way” St John’s fundraiser we had Nikki in to talk to the tamariki about all the wonderful things St Johns do.
She talked about what they do, the equipment they use. She even had some equipment for the tamariki to try on and use. Some of the tamariki got to try on the vest, the jackets, experience the stethoscope, wrap their legs and arm in bandage’s and use the blood pressure monitor on their finger. Nikki even read a St John’s story to the tamariki.
What a wonderful opportunity this was for the tamariki, showing them all that they do for us!
