The Tūī (infant and toddler room) has a separate Pēpi nest for non mobile babies to support them to meet those milestones that are so important, great large outdoor area with moveable and changeable outdoor equipment to cater for varying levels and abilities. Then as they become more mobile the can begin to explore the rest of te ruma Tūi and all the sensory experiences that the wider room offers while still having their individual needs and routines met with manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.

In te ruma kea our curriculum is guided by our local curriculum principles Manaakitanga, kotahitanga whanaungatanga and ako. and concepts of te ao māori such as tuakana/teina. Our philosophy and vision of enriching the lives of others is seen through close whānau relationships and developing relationships throughout the community. We have built a community of curious and independent learners, that believe in themselves as much as we believe in them.
