Education Review Office (ERO)
The Education Review Office (ERO) plays a key role in assessing the quality of teaching practices, curriculum delivery and governance within Early Learning Centres.
ERO reports “BestStart prides itself on the development of robust policies and procedures to ensure that centres not only meet but surpass the required health, safety, regulatory and legislative requirements required in early childhood education.”
It’s also noted that BestStart’s effective management systems, including business managers and professional service managers provide continuous support to centres. These systems ensure teachers receive educated and effective advice, guidance and ongoing professional development, all linked to teacher appraisals.
In its recent governance review (February 2024), ERO commended BestStart for its dedication to achieving equitable and excellent outcomes for all learners.
